By the Fireplace opens with a slightly spicy spark of pink pepper and clove, gently smoldering like embers in a fire. As it settles, the heart unveils a rich accord of roasted chestnuts and guaiac wood, giving it that signature toasty, smoky aroma that’s both comforting and evocative. The base is where the magic lingers—vanilla, cashmeran, and Peru balsam come together to create a creamy sweetness that softens the smoke and adds a cozy, skin-like warmth.
