Back to Black opens with a rich blend of juicy raspberry and aromatic spices—cardamom and coriander lending a mysterious, almost oriental flair. Quickly, it melts into a heart of luscious honey and dark pipe tobacco, sensual and warm, with whispers of incense and wood adding smoky depth. As it dries down, sweet and resinous notes emerge: vanilla, almond, and tonka bean resting on a base of amber and patchouli, creating a lasting trail that’s both comforting and provocative.
